A Sunday Snog with a difference this week – it includes a giveaway and a donation drive for a good cause.
You can read about the good cause and (if you wish) make a donation at this link
You can also read the rest of the Sunday Snogs as well as participate in lots of giveaways.
Here is my Sunday Snog, and the giveaway details are found below.
This snippet is from Between Good & Evil, the second book in the Heavenly Sins trilogy which is in the process of going through edits before being re-released later this year.
Outside, the world was cloaked in darkness. Tristan gazed up at the night sky and wondered at the vast array of stars. He couldn’t remember ever seeing such a sight. “It’s beautiful,” he breathed.
Mac pulled him round the back of the hut and deep into the trees. “You’re beautiful, Duach.”
Tristan wondered why Mac continued to call him the strange sounding name. Things turned to a more familiar ground when Mac pushed him up against the tree and rubbed up against him passionately. Tristan groaned and pulled Mac towards him, kissing him deeply.
Mac didn’t seem to realise what Tristan intended at first, but soon he began to tentatively kiss him back. Tristan placed his hands on Mac’s arse and encouraged him to continue grinding against him. Tristan’s heart pounded and all his blood rushed south. Mac pulled out of the kiss, gasping, his breath coming in sharp pants.
“What was that?” he asked in astonishment. Tristan had the strangest feeling Mac had no idea what a kiss was.
“Didn’t you like it?” Tristan teased and he reached down to place his hand over the bulge in Mac’s tunic that told him he’d enjoyed the kiss immensely.
Mac didn’t miss a beat. He reached down and rubbed Tristan through the thick fabric of his clothes in turn.
“Come away with me,” Mac whispered. “Just the two of us.”
“Of course.” Tristan would follow Mac anywhere if he asked him to.
Mac tore at his clothes and Tristan did likewise. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Tristan knew he was dreaming. The world around him appeared strange and unfamiliar, the only stable point being Mac, and he clung to him desperately.
First of all, the legal stuff – I refer you to the giveaway terms and conditions here. All pretty standard stuff and that gets the legalities out of the way. 🙂
The prize I am offering is a print copy of Between Heaven & Hell, retail value UK£8.99 / US$12.99.
This is the first book in the Heavenly Sins series. This book is also going to be re-released later this year after being re-edited and with a few revisions. But I do have a few print copies left from the last time it was available. Sorry, can’t share the original cover art since I am no longer allowed to use the art for promotional purposes. You can still see it on Amazon though since there are apparently some unsold print copies in stock there.
To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post.
There is no need to leave a postal address on the blog but all entrants must leave a valid email address for me to be able to contact you if you are the winner.
I will run the giveaway until next weekend and pick a winner at random (via random.org) at 11am GMT on Saturday 20th September 2014.
